I finally got my hands on the new MacBook Pro and I have to say I’m in love with it. Apple does an excellent job at making sure everything is thought out just perfectly. Lord Steve makes sure of it. The new glass buttonless trackpad feels like magic and the tapered edges on the screen give it a cool clamshell look (if not that then something out of star trek deep space 9).

On Tuesday Apple announced a suite of beautifully designed web applications called MobileMe. The suite completely replaces the .Mac service which had been failing for sometime to drum up hype.

Nevertheless, I could not help but stare at the simple interface they have designed for it. I thought I’d share it with you.

MacWorld! Whoa! What a name to call an event huh? Or wait! Is it just me? Yea, its me. Sorry. I love Macs. So yea, MacBook Air was launched last Tuesday.

Whenever apple announces that they are going to release something the whole world just assumes its gonna be something revolutionary. Im one of them. We expect so much. Last year was the iPhone. This year was the MacBook Air (which I of course pre-ordered) and next year will probably be the iPlane! Hehe. Wouldn’t that be cool? iAirways? Yea! Im copyrighting that.

Anywho, have a look at the new MacBook Air. Its completely wireless, 80GB, has a 13″ screen, weighs only 3 pounds and is only 3 quarters of an inch. The size of a 20 page kids book!

Lets talk a bit about instant messaging. Its come a long way, wouldn’t you agree? If your between the ages of 15 and 25, chances are your logged into your favorite messenger client pretty much through your whole day. Even right now as your reading!

I think its safe to say the majority of my friends use MSN Live Messenger for the Windows Platform. Great Instant Messenger by the way. Oh, and then you’ve got those cool plugins that you could install that include all those cool viruses that you don’t even know you have yet. I divorced that particular client when I switched over to the Mac.
Many new Mac switchers find a hard time finding ‘MSN Messenger for Mac‘ (which is actually made by Microsoft, not Apple) or something similar that incorporates all the same and/or better features than it’s Windows cousin. The problem is, Microsoft has never been really good at implementing their IM client on the Macintosh from the jump so people are forced to search for alternatives instead.
Thats where Adium comes in! Adium is an open source Instant Messenger application for a number of various chat protocols. What the heck does that mean? Well, basically it takes your MSN, Yahoo, iChat, Google Chat, AOL , ICQ and others and allows you to talk to all of your buddies on one combined list. Totally eliminating the need to open 4 or 5 different applications at one time. The great thing about it is its 100% customizable. So you could dress it however you like.
If your on a Mac, take a look at this great app here. We’ll just have to wait and see what Microsoft is cooking up as the next version to MSN for Mac.
Oh, did I mention, the icon is a little green dock! Cool huh?

Deck the halls with boughs and holly, Fa-la-la-la-la, la-la, la, la! Seriously though, how annoying is that song? Its almost christmas time already! Gee, it felt like it was just June last week thursday and here we are again, standing on the door step of the most expensive holiday ever.

I’ve never gotten excited about Christmas. I just love the weather this time of year. Maybe more than I like the actual holiday. I find myself cranking up the A/C even in the summer just so I could get cozy under my bed. There’s nothing like a hot cup of coffee… okay, okay, hot coco and a good book to keep you busy during the cold nights. Maybe even an attractive woman rubbing your feet and singing Christmas carols until you fall asleep too, well maybe thats pushing it.
I have a huge list this Christmas. It includes, mac stuff, mac stuff and more mac stuff. Thats all anyone really needs in life anyway right? Who needs all that mushy love stuff when you have great Apple products to show your affection to? I think my address smeared off of Santa’s list anyway. Damn you and your magic markers Mrs. Clause!
Oh, and before I forget. Here’s that annoying “Deck the Halls” song [link]
Seriously though. I hope everyone has a safe and happy Christmas.

And yet they keep getting better. Today Apple released one of their famous iPod + iTunes commercials. Which in my opinion is the best yet. The commercial features a performing silhouette of HipHop/R&B superstar Mary J. Blige and what sounds like a new song from maybe an upcoming album. Nevertheless, very hot.

Isn’t Mary so cool?
